When the alert popped up on my phone the other day, I thought to myself, how in the entire fuck could Serena Williams lose a match to another woman due to sexism?
I figured it may have been a matter of Serena being built like a guy. She's got a ginormous ass and tits (too large, really), but she's stronger than any other woman I ever saw, including female bodybuilders.
If I were dating her—if she decided to start getting with black guys again—and I said the wrong thing, and I was also extremely drunk at the time (a distinct possibility), I can't tell you that I'd be able to beat her up. Which would be embarrassing if anyone found out.
Come to find out, this was a matter of Serena not being allowed to throw a tantrum. She complained that a guy wouldn't have received as harsh a penalty for doing the same thing. John McEnroe used to act a damn fool on the court. Was he not penalized?
It seems kinda ridiculous to me that you wouldn't be allowed to say or do anything you want to do between sets, provided you didn't break any of the actual rules of the game. But what do I know about tennis? I'm not one of these people who watch white sporting events one day out of the year, when there's a black athlete competing, and want to start changing the rules.
