It's important to keep in mind that there's no evidence to suggest that there was sexual encounter between Bill Cosby and Andrea Constand to speak of, let alone a non-consensual one: no video of the Cos rubbing one out onto a seemingly incapacitated woman's feet, no DNA-stained dress, no calendar from 1982, nothing.
Normally, a bullshit case like this would have been thrown out of court on its ear, for a number of reasons, including the lack of evidence, the fact that it took place umpteen years ago and the fact that the Cos already got off for the same crime once before.
Was there not a movie made about the fact that you can't be charged with the same crime twice? If Ashley Judd could literally kill someone (if that's what that movie was about), you'd think the Cos could give a broad some Benadryl. That's not even a date-rape drug that I'm aware of.
Ironically, the reason the Cos was railroaded, aside from the fact that he was thinking about buying NBC, is because the judge allowed all of the other accusations against him—none of which he's actually been convicted of—to be included as evidence, because the Cos went around giving that pound cake speech, thus inviting scrutiny into his affairs.
If there's a lesson to be learned here, it's that they don't you telling young black people anything that might keep them out of jail.
