Last night, Pusha T ripped Drake a new asshole, and then he ripped that new asshole its own new asshole. But in a way that was (mostly) completely hetero.
Drake and Pusha T are involved in a beef that goes as far back as that song Birdman did with the Clipse. I think Birdman never cut Pharrell a check for that beat. But I'm no expert on that particular kind of rap music, nor do I give a shit.
On Pusha T's new album (if you can call it that), he takes a few shots at Drake, pointing out the fact that Drake doesn't write his own rhymes, and he was never a legit drug dealer like Pusha T. (Has Pusha T mentioned that he used to sell drugs?)
Drake struck back immediately with the "Duppy" freestyle, which wasn't as good as "Back to Back" (which even I kinda like), but it's still kinda impressive that he can hold his own in a rap beef with a real MC, not unlike that time Lil B ended Joe Budden's career.
In retrospect, Drake should have known better than to go after Pusha T. I mean, if there's that much dirt on him lying around. Some of the things Pusha T discusses on "The Story of Adidon" are things anyone writing a dis song about Drake would mention: the fact that he's—as Issa Rae would put it—Halfrican-American; that his father abandoned him; and that Birdman is ripping him off.
But it's also revealed, er, publicized, that Drake has a baby by a pr0n chick, Sophie Brussaux, who was one of the very first girls featured in RackRadar, under the name of either French Rosebud or Rosee Divine. Who can remember? I wasn't aware that she had a career in film, so to speak, but I do recall there being indications that you could go out on a date with her for money.
