From now through Sunday, download the Kindle Edition (i.e. the only version there is) of Beatings by Dr. Dre for free.
It's only $0.99 to begin with, but some black people won't spend less than a dollar on a book, and then turn around and pay $200 for a pair of shoes that cost like $8 to make, so now you don't have an excuse.

Maybe some of you already "copped" when I did a giveaway this past fall. This is the exact same book as it was then, so no reason to buy it for free again.
And maybe you already read both of my Dr. Dre articles on Medium. Many people have, especially the titular Beatings by Dr. Dre. You'll still want to take a look at the ebook, as it has two more essays, not available on Medium, in which I explain my motives and reflect on the ridonkulous success of the aforementioned domestic violence article.
Speaking of which, Beatings by Dr. Dre the article has gone viral again in the past couple of weeks, with the hype surrounding the release of the NWA biopic. When the ebook dropped, this past fall, it had been read by over 100,000 people. It's been read by way more people than that now, and more than twice as many people who have read my infamous Dame article.
With the exception of Gawker, which will hopefully be driven out of business soon by Ho Kogan, and a few black feminist sites that live to tarnish a black man's reputation, I haven't seen very many sites pick up this story, including the kind of SJW sites that might otherwise manufacture a crime out of thin air just to have something to write about. Hmm...
