It's been years (probably since high school) since I last saw anybody rocking any Abercrombie. But I remember when I was in college, they sent us a catalog that had a buncha teenage white chicks just standing in the woods naked. I always appreciated that.
You'll recall that they once had an issue with the Chinese over their infamous Chinaman dry-cleaning shirts. Now they seem to have run into a bit of trouble over some shirts that are allegedly offensive to women.
Bowing to pressure from a group of angry young fat girls, who threatened a boycott, Abercrombie & Fitch announced this past Friday that it's pulling two shirts off the market: one with the slogan "Gentlemen Prefer Tig Old Bitties" and a second reading, "With These, Who Needs Brains?" across the chest.
Other shirts still on the market include such phrases as "Blondes Are Adored, Brunettes Are Ignored," "I Had A Nightmare I Was A Brunette [pictured above in all its glory]," "Do I Make You Look Fat" and "No Money, No Car, No Chance."
Also, on an unrelated note, happy birthday to Sheek Louch, who turns - I don't know, maybe 30 today.
