Berating Lee Daniels live onstage at an event somehow didn't result in Daniels cutting Dame Dash a check for $2 million, but at least it was captured on cell phone camera video for posterity. I've seen it several times already, and I might watch it again when I get done writing this. I love it! No homo.
Now everyone knows that Daniels supposedly borrowed $2 million from Dame back during the Woodsman era and never paid it back, in case they missed that in Dame's interview on the Combat Jack Show, in my book No Country for Black Men, on the Breakfast Club and probably in any number of YouTube videos in which he gives business advice to his barber.
I bet very few people were aware that Lee Daniels supposedly owes Dame $2 million. Even a podcast is a lot to ask for in 2018.
As far back as when Dame was on the Combat Jack Show, he said he was filing a lawsuit against Daniels, which leads me to believe that the case was thrown out of court on its ear. Otherwise, why would this still be an issue in 2018?
Most likely, Dame was an investor on one of Daniels' films, and either the film didn't make any money, or the TIs used creative accounting to make it seem as if it didn't make any money. Either way, there's no way Dame is going to get that $2 million. That's just how the system works. Mel Gibson hardly made anything on that Jesus torture movie, and he put up his own money.
