Lena Dunham has yet to have an abortion, but she wishes she had. Maybe that can be arranged for 2017.
Normally, this is the part of the article where I volunteer my services, but I'm gonna have to pass on this one.
Not that I have anything against getting with what's known in the field of economics as a suboptimal white woman—I am, after all, a black man—but I'm not sure if I could get a rod for Lena Dunham. I'm not as young as I used to be, and she's gross.
I've got at least half a decade on Dunham, but she can't possibly be in very good health, and I seem to recall hearing about her receiving medical treatment for her nether regions a while back. It's possible she can't get pregnant anyway.
Yesterday on her podcast, she revealed that she's disappointed about having never had an abortion. A media outlet staffed by the kind of woman who listens to Lena Dunham's podcast (it could have been any of them, including most rap magazines) picked up on it, and it was all over Twitter yesterday afternoon.
The SJWs who put together the Moments feature on Twitter must have had to work overtime to selectively go through and feature tweets from woke baes, the alt-center and at least one black person. But even the people whose tweets were featured were none too pleased. In particular, there was concern that this was the kind of shit that cost Hillary the election.
One person did point out that the remarks were taken out of context. They posted a screencap of an excerpt from a transcript of the podcast, as one does, this being end times and all, but the remarks hardly seemed any better placed within their proper context.
Basically, she was saying that someone from Planned Parenthood asked her to take part in an event in which girls talked about times they had an abortion. She told the girl she couldn't participate, because she'd never had an abortion, but then she felt bad about feeling good about never having had an abortion. So she wishes she'd had one, so this wouldn't be an issue.
There's nothing wrong with feeling good about never having had an abortion. Maybe one or two girls who get abortions were impregnated by their own fathers (which I'm against), but the vast majority of girls who get abortions are trifling hoodrats. They could have avoided having to get an abortion by practicing safe sex, or abstinence.
Instead of feeling guilty about never having an abortion, Dunham should have had a talk with the girl from Planned Parenthood about the sense of pride that comes with never having killed a child just because you made a bad decision. If more girls understood this, they wouldn't need Planned Parenthood—which might not be around much longer anyway.
