Kanye West is only a few days out of the looney bin. How did he even get to Trump Tower?
He had a hard enough time in airports when he was ostensibly sane. It's a wonder there wasn't "an incident."
Yesterday, there was a great video of a lady that had to be dragged from a Delta Airlines flight kicking and screaming, supposedly because she complained about there not being enough room in the overhead compartment.
Sometimes hobos who bring all of their worldly possessions on vacation, or to out of town probation meetings or whatever, take up more than their allotted amount of space in the overhead compartment.
I've also had issues where I didn't close the compartment completely, thinking it would be ok, and the shit ended up falling and hitting someone in the head. For a while it was thought that that was how Billy Mays died, but it turned out he was on coke. As I recall, he went the same day as Wacko Jacko.
Kanye strolled into Trump Tower yesterday looking like Wesley Snipes in Demolition Man. He's obviously still crazy. He's always had kind of a crazy look on his face, but now he's completely gone. Trump was obviously just humoring him, like when Dookie borrowed $15 from Officer Pryzbylewski to go get his GED.
Asked by a reporter what they were talking about, Trump said they talked about life. Kanye's been a friend of his for a long time, he said.
Translation: Whatever Kanye said was as incoherent as his rants at the last few shows before the TIs pulled the plug on his tour.
Kanye, on Twitter, said he was there to discuss "multicultural issues," including bullying, supporting teachers, changing the curriculum and violence in Chicago.
It sounds like these are all things Trump told him to say. He might not even have control of his Twitter, being crazy and all. Imagine some of the things he might have said the past few weeks.
I remember Melania Trump saying that addressing bullying would be one of her primary objectives as first lady, back when no one thought Trump could possibly be president. And addressing the crime problem in Chicago was more or less the extent of Trump's proposition to the black community during the campaign.
As far as the education stuff goes, does Kanye not realize that Trump appointed Erik Prince's sister as Secretary of Education? This was the same guy who supposedly had people down there shooting looters in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, as Kanye himself mentioned at that telethon.
She's also the daughter-in-law of the founder of Amway, and the head of some think tank that advocates for eradicating child labor laws. She's there to do the exact opposite of supporting teachers. They're about to realize Deray's dream of privatizing public education.
Which raises the question: How could Kanye think that this would do himself or the rest of us any good? Supposedly, he plans to resume that tour he had to cancel. I can't imagine this will drive ticket sales. And obviously Trump's not about to do anything to benefit "multicultural" people.
