Killer Mike "Big Beast"

via pitchfork.com

True Story: Years ago, before this R.A.P. Music album had even been thought of (I was still amongst the employed and the seeing at the time), my former esteemed colleague Killer Mike asked me what producers I thought he should work with, and I of course said El-P and Lushlife. Fast forward a couple of years, and now he's got an album coming out entirely produced by El-P.

Granted, I'm sure he had been up on El-P, and he probably still hasn't looked into Lushlife, but I think it's only right that I receive some sort of compensation from Adult Swim, especially with this being Black History Month.

Come on, Ted Turner. Take this opportunity to end the cycle of exploitation.
