How I know Perez Hilton is a racist

Unless you've been sleeping under a rock for the past several hours, I'm sure you've heard about Perez Hilton getting to a fight with Will.I.Am. I even did a post about it today for XXL.

I hadn't actually seen the video of Perez going off on Will.I.Am until just now, i.e. a couple of hours after the fact, but I think I pretty much got the gist of what happened. Plus, let's keep it real, I didn't really give a shit what happened. I was just looking for an opportunity to crack a few teh ghey jokes.

$habooty has the full video of Perez's bitchfit, which runs about 12 minutes long. Nhjic. I didn't bother to watch it, but I caught a version of it on Gawker, and it looks like they've edited it down to the few parts you really need to hear.

The parts that came off racist to me:

1) Perez refers to Will.I.Am as "that thug," despite the fact that Will.I.Am is like, the least thuggish rapper evar. Would he have said the same thing about Asher Roth?

2) Perez says he tried to think of the most hurtful thing he could do to Will.I.Am, without resorting to violence, which he would never do. as if to suggest that Will.I.Am, for some reason, might be naturally prone to violence.

3) Perez decided that the worst thing he could do to Will.I.Am was call him gay, and a faggot, as if to suggest that being called a fag is worse than being called the dreaded n-word.
