FACT: I may have broken up Mos Def's marriage

In this clip from an E! True Hollywood Stories about hip-hop wives, Mos Def's white Canadian stripper wife Alana Wyatt says Mos married her three days after they met, then he heard in the media that she's a former stripper who's been with a number of rappers and athletes and decided to skip town.

She didn't mention my blog in particular, but I know I've covered her extensively over the years. No Peter North. She might not have known, since it was Mos who read up on her. Anyway, it just goes to show the power of the Internets. If only Mos would have announced that he was thinking about wifing this broad before he actually went and did it, this all could have been avoided.

Check the video for yourself after the jump. She really did perform. If she's that enthusiastic in her various other lines of work, I could see how Mos got caught up. (via}
