An open letter to Barack Obama from Rebel Diaz

Rebel Diaz

Speaking of Barack Obama being the lesser of two evils, I found this fascinating. It's an open letter to the candidate, in the style of the classic Eminem record "Stan."

It might be the only rap song about Barack Obama that's not fawning over the guy, let alone in favor of him.

And it's not like there's any shortage of rap songs about Barack Obama. The other day, there was an entire mixtape that came out with nothing but songs about him. Maybe I'll review it. I've just got to bring myself to actually listen to it.

This song is by Rebel Diaz. You may remember them (yeah, apparently that's the name of a group) from the time earlier this year when they got arrested for fucking with the police up in New York.

Check the embed below, courtesy of Odeo. If that doesn't work, you might just try heading over to the Odeo site and streaming it from there. Plus, they've got a download link there, in case you wanna ride around in your car listening to this.

And after the jump is the actual footage of Rebel Diaz being brutalized, Ronnie Dobbs-style, by NYPD.
