Artie Lange returns to the Howard Stern Show

Artie Lange

Artie Lange's return to the Howard Stern Show this morning was so anticlimactic that I wasn't even gonna mention it. But I figured a few of you fruits might be interested to know what happened, since I did post on The Incident a couple of times here the other day.

And I know that Melissa of the Perfect Calmness likes to think that I'm some kind of Stern Superfan - even though I I don't even have Sirius and hence only listen to the show occasionally. (Though I am thinking about using some of my $600 economic stimulus to get Sirius installed in the van.)

Save Baby Gorilla, the unofficial Artie Lange show blog, which is how I've been keeping up with this shit, has audio of Artie's return this morning, as well as a rundown of what the fallout has been from The Incident.

Essentially, it sounds like Artie realized that his career, if not his life, depends on him being on the Howard Stern Show, and so he apologized to a few people and now he's gonna try to get his shit together and put this incident behind him. It reminds me of the time when I almost went up to White Castle to beg for my job back, after I had to tell some people there to go fuck themselves. (Of course I didn't.)

Check the audio of Artie's return after the jump.
