More white on white police brutality

White people, seriously, wtf? I thought you guys were supposed to get along with one another.

And yet, the relationship between white people and the police is beginning to increasingly resemble the relationship between black men and black women. In other words, it's fucked the fuck up. (How appropriate, given that tomorrow is Valentine's Day!)

You'll recall that, not too long ago, I brought you the story about that kid here in St. Louis (albeit in the cracka-ass cracka hinterlands of South County) caught on tape a cop threatening to make up all sorts of bullshit charges against him because he had the sheer balls to park in a commuter parking lot at night. Which is legal, last time I checked.

There was also that kid who got tased down in Florida for trying to ask John Kerry if he purposely threw the 2004 election to his fraternity brother at Yale, President Sieg Howdy.

Now comes the story of some poor kid in Baltimore who got choked out by a cop for calling the cop dude. This happened some time last summer, but a video of the incident only showed up on YouTube just now. Otherwise, the cop probably would have gotten away with that shit.

In the video, the cop, Officer Salvatore Rivieri (draw your own conclusions), is seen jumping out of the faggiest police car ever. He's got on coach shorts and a yellow polo that's so tight it looks like if he eats another donut, the shit might break apart at the seams.

He approaches these kids who are skateboarding, which is illegal in that part of Baltimore, but the one kid couldn't hear him, because he was listening to his iPod. Once he finally pulls his earphones out, he's like, "Dude, I couldn't hear you."

At which point the cop went fucking batshit. First he picks the kid up and chokes the shit out of him for no reason. Then he takes his skateboard and tosses it in his fagmobile. Then he gives the kid a lecture about respect for the police, and how he's gonna get killed if he keeps calling people dude.

No, really.

As the officer explains, "I'm not 'man.' I'm not 'dude.' I am Officer Rivieri! [...] Dude is a person who works on a ranch!"

According to the story at ABC News, the officer has been suspended with pay. There wasn't anything mentioned about an investigation or anything, so my guess is that they're just gonna wait this one out until it blows over.

The video is blowing up on YouTube though, so maybe this will turn into a big enough PR debacle that they'll have to fire his ass. If I was this kid's lawyer, I might even see about playing the pedophilia card against Officer Rivieri. How else to explain the unnecessary choke hold?
