Beanie Sigel: Borderline homeless

Oh, how the mighty have fallen

Speaking of XXL and rappers who aren't selling very many albums these days, there's also a story of how Beanie Sigel's Maserati was recently saved from auction by an unnamed friend who showed up at the last minute and paid off $1,700 worth of outstanding parking tickets.

Reading it, I was reminded of a story from earlier this year (or was it last year?) about how he was damn near sent up for car theft for failing to return a rental car he took out and probably couldn't afford to bring back.

Which is ironic, because his new album The Solution (don't waste your time) has lines like, "I pull seven digits, clean, soon as I grace the stage/I done caught up with the paper — y’all chasin’ change."

Who does he think he's kidding?
