Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and tennis player Serena Williams have both been maligned on the Internets in the past few weeks for their personal appearance. A few weeks ago, some shots of Serena Williams from an issue of JANE magazine hit the Internets. Commenters on many blogs elsewhere suggested she looked more like Barry Bonds than an actual woman, while I know she had some supporters among this site's readership. Opinion was similarly split over some shots from Maggie Gyllenhaal's ad campaign for Agent Provocateur lingerie. Last week's poll had to do with which of these women you would choose, if you had to.

I'm not sure where I was going with this one in the first place, so I'm gonna go ahead and fall back on the race issue. As usual. Now, it was proven once, in another one of these polls, that this site tends to skew in favor of white chicks, in terms of preference in women by race. But of course this poll is unique in that puts a white chick that many people don't find particularly attractive up against a black chick who looks like a guy. If I would've been thinking, maybe I would've put a white chick who kinda looks like a guy up against a fairly run of the mill black chick, in order to test the dedication of this site's white girl contingent. But whatever.
