The Real World: Denver - Episode 20: Episode Summary

I don't know about the rest of you d-bags, but I'm about 40 times more psyched about tonight's episode than I was that time I graduated from college. In fact, this could very well be the best thing that's ever happened to me since the infamous Slap Heard 'Round the World.

As the episode begins, Tyrie and Jizz-all are in the bathroom having a lover's quarrell. It looks like Tyrie may have put his shoe on her, but it's hard to tell. He definitely grabbed her by the arm and dragged her back into the bathroom. And it sounds like he broke a buncha shit in the bathroom.

I'm not sure who called the cops, but they're definitely outside. If I was Tyrie, I'd be trying to get my story together right about now, but instead he insists on trying to yell at her, as if it would even be possible to patch their shit up at this point.

Eventually he realizes Jizz-all ain't having it and so he storms out the house and heads down the street looking for something to beat up on. Stephen chases him down the street to let him know the cops are outside and they're concerned about Jizz-all's appearance. If he doesn't want a domestic violence charge, he should consider taking his monkey-ass home and chilling the fuck out.

So Tyrie agrees to go inside, but before he does he stops and takes a piss on the gate out front. The cops see him and place him under arrest.

I think Jizz-all assumed he was being locked up for putting his shoe on her, so she runs outside to play the typical redneck wife, but then she realizes he's being locked up for taking a piss in public - in front of a cop car, no less - so then she heads back inside. The cop car takes off with Tyrie in the back.

According to Jenn, who must get locked up a lot, all they're gonna do is keep him until he dries out, so they wait until the next morning and then Stephen calls the police station. I didn't catch what happens, but it looks like MTV bailed him out and had him up in a hotel somewhere. Stephen and Alex go to pick him up.

In the car on the way home, Tyrie has a breakdown because now people are going to believe he's a woman beater. He says he doesn't want to be on the show anymore. Back at the house, he has a phone call with his daddy or whatever, which was just plain some of the funniest shit I've ever heard on this series.

Then Tyrie, Alex, Stephen, and his Halfrican American friend head out for some Charles Grodin-style chorizo and eggs. They discuss whether or not the Halfrican should hook up with Jenn, while Jenn herself is at home having a heart to heart talk with her bf back home. Tyrie, who probably shouldn't be giving out advice at this point, says he shouldn't.

Commercial Break: Anyone tried those "Zesty Nachos" from Taco Bell? What the fuck?

I like how Tyrie is back in a club kicking no more than 24 hours after pulling a Lionel Richie out in front of the house and then getting arrested for pissing in the street. After her little phone call, Jenn had her mind made up that she was going to fuck the Halfrican guy, so she drags him home from the club drunk and the two of them go at it.

The next day, Tyrie and Jizz-all have lunch and talk things over. Jizz-all says she wishes he would have been more sympathetic re: her feelings about the other girl, and Tyrie says he probably shouldn't have drunk as much as he did. So guess they're cool now. Back at the house, Jenn suggests Tyrie shouldn't sweat the situation with Jizz-all, since she's crazy anyway. Tyrie gets all choked up and wonders if he shouldn't just go home.
