Anti-piracy = class warfare

Pictured above is Edgar Bronfman, one of the top TI's in the music business - even more so than Jimmy Iovine and Lyor "the original Tall Israeli" Cohen. He's also heir to the ridonkulously wealthy Jewish (sorry) family that owned the Seagram Company.
Surely any of his seven kids (many of whom, I should note, are black) could afford to cop literally any CD they could ever want. Think about it: Of the $12 or so a CD costs, a good $8 is going right back into their daddy's pockets anyway.
Still, that hasn't stopped at least one of them from illegally downloading music over the Internets. And let's keep it real: probably everyone in his whole fucking family steals anything and everything they can get away with. That's how rich people get rich.
Here's thing though: Where as 12 year-old black kids in the projects, broke-ass college students, and 80 year-old grandmas on fixed incomes have been sued into oblivion for illegally downloading music, all this d-bag's kids got was a stern talking to.
Bronfman revealed as much at this weekend's Reuters Media and Marketing Summit:
“I explained to them what I believe is right, that the principle is that stealing music is stealing music. Frankly, right is right and wrong is wrong, particularly when a parent is talking to a child. A bright line around moral responsibility is very important. I can assure you they no longer do that.”
Insane. I don't even know what else to say.
In medieval times, his whole family would've been beheaded.
