Yes means yes
The Fight for a Man's Rights
When you're banging a chick, and first she says yes, but then she says no, that still means yes, right? Finally, a definitive answer:
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- An appellate court said Maryland's rape law is clear -- no doesn't mean no when it follows a yes and intercourse has begun.
Which seems fair enough to me. I mean, once you're in, you're in, right? The damage has already been done. You might as well go ahead and finish up, regardless of whether the chick thinks it's a good idea.
So says the state of Maryland's law pertaining to the issue. Hence, a state appeals court was recently forced to overturn a rape conviction after it was determined that the trial judge in the case refused to acknowledge the yes means yes line of reasoning.
According to the ruling in the case, "the law is not ambiguous and is a tenet of common-law." Does this mean that this is the law everywhere you go? Probably not, though an argument could be made that it should be.
Think about the alternative: everytime a chick agrees to let a brother hit and then decides she's not enjoying it, she can whip out her trusty pink rape whistle and have his ass sent up. That just doesn't seem fair.
