The Gospel of Michael Noer

A Leader in the Fight for a Man's Rights
The great thing about reading an article like Michael Noer's insta-classic "Don't Marry a Career Woman" is that you can't really argue against it without running up against pesky facts. The man's argument is backed by several serious academic studies which show that marriage to a "career woman" is the worst thing evar.
Which is only common sense, when you think about: If the man has a career, and the woman has a career, neither one is going to want to clean the toilet. And who wants to live in a nasty-ass house like that? Fortunately, when I was but a young public intellectual in training, my old man could afford Cottage Care. Phew!
And I quote, from Noer's Wikipedia entry:
The article has been referred to as 'misogynist' in an example of a classic 'ad hominem' fallacy, as none of points in the article have actually been addressed by the critics. Attempts to make note of the fact that none of the critics of the article have addressed the point of the article, that men who marry career women are less happy, have been repeatedly removed from Wikipedia in a clear act of wiki vandalism.
I notice said entry seems to differ every time I check it (which is constantly, natch), so that should be fun to watch. Also, it points to another great article of his called "The Economics of Prostitution," which includes the following zinger.
But the implication remains that wives and whores are--if not exactly like Coke and Pepsi--something akin to champagne and beer. The same sort of thing.
LOL. That's just rich.
