My own personal 9/11

Workers at Busch Stadium work to keep out the rainwater after powerful storms blew through the region, delaying tonight's Cards-Braves game.

St. Louis got fucking rocked this evening by some kind of weird-ass storm. It was more lightning than anything else (yeah!), but there were also tornado-level winds and some rain. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was global warming related.

It may have even made the national news because I think the Cardinals game had to be canceled. I know, God forbid. Peep this story about it at STLtoday.com.

Our power just came back on after being out for like four or five hours. Since it's always hot now, even at night, my apartment got hot as a motherfucker. I left for a while to drink beers and eat fifteen dollars worth of Chinese food (it's possible), but I've been home now for a good 45 minutes.

Honestly, I have no idea how people live during the summer without AC, especially now in the end of days. Not to sound like President Bush Mengele, but between the weather and Israel's ridonkulous crusade against Lebanon, this could very well be the last year evar.

I'm done for the night, but I'll catch you bitches on the flip side.
