Kanye West hates black women

From the beginning, Kanye West's shtick has revolved around pandering to black women. He was the rapper who understood the black woman's "self-conscious" impulse to drop out of school and spend all of her money on clean, white tennis shoes.

In last year's hit single "Gold Digger," he famously lamented the black man's tendency to leave the black woman for a white woman as soon as he has a little money in his pocket. Those bastards.

You can imagine my utter amusement, then, when I read recently that your boy has a hard core thing for black man on white woman pr0n.

Last week, the rapper accidentally left what's been described as "a huge box of porn" at a photo shoot for a music magazine. Literally, all of the material in the box was said to feature black men with white women.

Here's the thing: A black man with a hard core thing for pr0n featuring white women is about as surprising to me as a black man with a hard core thing for fried chicken. It's disheartening to think that we can fit into such obvious stereotypes, but it's true none the less.

I wonder, though, if black women will continue to buy into this "Kanye West feels your pain" bullshit.
