Game Theory takes a leak

It won't be available in stores until August 29th, but the new Roots album Game Theory was leaked to the Internets some time yesterday or the day before. I would imagine at least some of you fucking pirates have heard it by now. What are your opinions on this?
The backpacker kid that covers rap for About.com gave it a glowing five-star review, which would lead me to believe that this album may be hailed as a dark, brooding masterpiece in some circles. It's yet to grow on me, though, and so I was forced to call it a boring joykill in my post today at XXL.
My favorite Roots albums as of right now:
- Do You Want More?
- Illadelph Halflife
- Things Fall Apart
- Phrenology
- The Tipping Point
- Game Theory
If you would've asked me in, say, 1998, I would've had Illadelph at #1, but now I'm about certain that each subsequent Roots album was a little worse than the one that came before it, their obscure first album notwithstanding. Maybe Game Theory will grow on me and surpass the Tipping Point.

You're fuckin crazy. You must have heard a different album to the rest of the world. Crazy.
Oh, and first.

The Roots album is ok.. if you like this sort of stuff. I used to be a roots album a couple oh years to go.. but I wouldn't put it on the same level as Ghostface.. in my humbled opinion.

I was never a big Roots fan, but as skinny brooding white person this album spoke directly to me. Definitely an enjoyable surprise, although as always its best to check back in 6 months to see if it still gets any play or if it was only good for a weekend.

The Roots need to let the "band" in them out a little more often. If I listened to this album with no knowledge that they are supposed to be a Hip Hop Band, I would think it's just another good album except for it's boring but tolerable production.

Why did they bite the KMD "Balck Bastards" album cover, yet tone it down enough to be non-offensive and non-relevant?

You forgot Organix.

Maybe because they're trying to relay a different message than KMD's. You think KMD was the first group to think of putting a hanged man on their cover?

Yeah, you know you're right. That new Art Brut album really is sick.

now each man is entitled to his own opinion but I gotta say I am shocked at the responses to this album. Have you clowns ever listened the Black Thought's incredibly crazy gifted abilities, yeah Ghost is tight, but BT is on another level and these clown ass responses show why he is way ahead of hs time and why you fools jock Lil Wayne.
