Violence against women is mostly unacceptable

Says the Results of Last Week's Poll
Going into my 10th year in the "service industry," I've had my share of incidents where women have thrown things at me, snatched things out of my hand, leaned over the counter as if they could beat me up, and so on and so forth. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to get my Ike Turner on every once in a while.
Perhaps typically, I've yet to put my shoe on a woman even once in my life; and yet, it's violence against women that's the issue you hear about so often, and not vice versa. Riiight. At this point, I'd say I'm pretty much due to beat up a woman; but I'm willing to forgo that privelige, because that's the kind of man I am.
Does anybody else find that this is typically the case with so-called domestic violence? Anyway, here are the results of last week's poll.
- Mostly unacceptable (179 votes)
- Necessary at times (127 votes)
That second option got more votes than I expected - not so much because I doubt the sentiment exists, but I can't imagine that many dudes (about 40%) are actually laying the smackdown like that.
Anyway, next week's poll is going to have to wait a minute until I'm back on my own PC. Also, I've yet to actually think of anything. If you've got an idea, feel free to post it in the comments.
