Actually, I had read this a while ago, but I guess it's news now that the NME is reporting it. She doesn't let on exactly why she's being barred from entering the US on her MySpace profile, whose headline now reads "IM LOCKED OUT !!!!! THE U.S WONT LET ME IN!!!!!!!!" but like I mentioned in the world's first all-female album deathmatch, her album Arular is full of shouts out to terrorist groups like the LTTE and the PLO.

Serves her right, as far as I'm concerned.

You know, as much as I enjoy coming to this site and reading Bol's posts, I have to agree with this statement. I think the nature of the replies to a blog's posts say a lot about the blogger, and while some of Bol's posts are insightful and your humor can make me laugh out loud, there are also times when the nature of your input is -- this latest poll is an example, for lack of a better word is just asinine. And as a result you get the unintelligent and uneducated replies like I just read on one of the latest Cosby posts.

Another part of it is that some people, e.g. the ones who use "bitch" and "nigger" in every sentence, probably don't get Bol's irony and humor and will use this site as a sounding board for their ignorance anyhow. But you gotta keep the web traffic up all the same.

True Story... MIA's sister lives in New York and she is a roach eater from Pakistan or Sri Lankastan or where ever those people live. Went to both nights of the Roots at Radio City. The Roots are dope live but their style doesn't translate into the studio. The shows were great but the ticket prices were astronomical. I took my wifey status to both shows and I ended up spending over $300 for both nights. I felt like a trick azz negro.
