The Top 10 MCs of All Time
So it's "hip-hop week" again at MTV. You'll recall that last year they rounded up a few black guys from their mail room and also an Indian (dot) fellow to put together a list of the 10 Greatest Rap Albums of All Time. This year, they've put the proverbial band back together to determine the 10 Greatest MCs of All Time.
Actually, MTV's site is set to display only numbers 10 thru 6 right now. Presumably, numbers 5 thru 1 will be unveiled througout the week. But being the journalism legend that I am, I managed to figure out most of the rest of the list using a little Angelina Jolie-style haXoring. I couldn't get number 5 to display, but I figured out it was probably Nas using the process of elimination.

You'll notice there aren't any souterners on the list, unless you count KRS-One, because he's fucking batshit. Is Bun B going to write an angry letter to the TIs at MTV? Will Pimp C show up to the building fried on "ace" with an AK-47 tucked in his fur coat in the middle of the gotdamn summer and then try to pretend he's a political prisoner when his dumb ass gets tossed in jail for another five years?
But seriously, this isn't a half-bad list, except that the order is all fucked up. What do the rest of you bags think?
