The greatest weed carrier of all time

Not to climb on top of my "soap box," as I've been known to from time to time, but there's a certain thing called dedication. When a man entrusts another man to look after his bag, he likes to think that that bag is going to be taken care of, regardless of what might happen.

This weekend, weed carrier Israel Ramirez made the ultimate sacrifice to make sure that nobody fucked with Busta Rhymes' bag. No homo.

According to an important rap site:

Israel Ramirez, a bodyguard who recently started working security for Busta as his jewelry handler[1], was shot and killed shortly after midnight outside of the Kiss The Cactus Production studio in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, NY.

"The guy went to shoot Busta Rhymes and the bodyguard jumped in front... and took the bullet," a source told SOHH exclusively. "The dude was gonna shoot Busta Rhymes."

Obviously, it's difficult to say what exactly happened based on these reports, but we can presume that someone was attempting to go for The Bag[2].

As they say in Latin, ibid:

According to eyewitnesses, the shooting was a result of an argument that began inside the studio and continued outside. Ramirez got in to a fight while escorting people out of the studio before the shooting.

"I saw [Ramirez] come up the door guy," another eyewitness told SOHH exclusively. "They whispered back and forth and then I heard [Ramirez] say that something might happen."

Which I took as proof that Ramirez knew that threats had been made against The Bag. Without sufficient time to ascertain the true nature of the threat, Ramirez was left with no other choice than to place himself between The Bag and the threat. That, my friends, is called dedication.
