Blackface Jesus: "My message is positive"

So earlier today there was some stink about this guy Blackface Jesus. Hashim, Clyde Smith and some mixed race people (tee hee) were suggesting that his schtick and the fact that it keeps popping up on Gawker represented some sort of flaunting of white male privelege and was hence racist.

Using my IF Stone-level journalism tactics, I reached out to the man himself (nullus), who responded that not only is he not a racist, but that he is attempting to start some sort of eco-friendly taxi program (which will presumably stop for blacks) and has been known to kick it in Harlem.

The King of the Jews sayeth:

im representing that jesus was a black man.he stands for peace and love,this world has enough hate,im trying to make people more aware of the message of christ so i portray him as a man with dark skin,the people of that time and that region were of dark skin...im trying to start a campaign to bring hybrid taxis to nyc..my message is positive..i dont just go to hipster parties ,i m on the streets..the most positive response ive gotten has come from african americans..ive gone to harlem dressed as this character ,i got some shit at first but once i explain what this is,the message is understood..maybe one day i wont be able to explain and i may loose my life but jesus died for our sins and im prepared to die for this!
