Diddy vs. the Lox, pt. 2

So Diddy went on Hot 97 this afternoon to dispute some of D Block's claims and to clarify some issues with regard to his business dealings with them. He actually went so far as to show up with a stack of papers, including canceled checks and contracts.
According to Diddy, he only owns 20% of their publishing, but the way he described it sounded fairly convoluted and made it seem as if the Lox themselves were seeing the other 80%, which doesn't seem very likely.
And no sooner than he could get done explaining his deal with them, the Lox' lawyer faxed over a copy of their contract that said very clearly, in no uncertain terms that Diddy owned 50% of their publishing.
Diddy then pointed to some copies of checks and said he couldn't make it any clearer than that. (???) He added that over the course of their career, the Lox have made about $1.5 million, of which he's received about $400,000.
A little Ron Rogers-style mathemagic reveals that that's about 27%, i.e. more than 20%.
Later, Biggie's moms, who's obviously in Diddy's pocket, calls in to address Lil' Cease's claims that Diddy still owns Biggie's publishing. She tells Cease to "mind his own damn business," and then launches into this ridonkulous spiel about the Biggie Duets album. Diddy refers to her a couple of times as "mom."
Thanks to Kevin Hoffa for the audio. I'll post it, probably in the comments, when I get a chance.
