Coretha Henderson will work for food

I brought you all a story before about how a crazed black mother had forced her child to stand on a corner holding a sign, in that case because the young fellow had stolen a pair of tennis shoes or some such. The sign read something to the effect of, "I'm about to go join my daddy in prison, because I steal shit!"
Young Coretha Henderson (you begin to see her problem already), was getting poor grades and having some CPT issues showing up to class. Her mother decided to teach her a lesson by making her stand at a busy intersection holding an embarassing sign.
The sign, in case you can't see it too well (click to enlarge, nullus), reads, "I don't do my homework and I act up in school, so my parents are preparing me for my future. Will work for food."
But then I wonder how often do you really see black chicks on the side of the road holding up will work for food signs. Indeed, the mother herself wonders how effective the sign will actually be.
"This may not work. I'm not a professional," said Henderson, a 34-year-old mother of three. "But I felt I owed it to my child to at least try."
It seems to me the sign might have worked better (and been more accurate) had it read either, "Will drop a litter of future convicts and collect a shiteload of welfare for the next 40 years," or, if she's feeling ambitious, "Will give a man head for $10."
Shit, I work for food (if not downright beg) every day of my life, and I have a degree!
