Cannibal Ox is back

Can Ox's The Cold Vein was one of the biggest albums to come out when I was in college and the beginning of one hell of a two year run for Definitive Jux. (Basically, the last interesting thing that ever happened in rap music.)
I heard mixed views on their solo projects and never really bothered checking them out. Actually, I seem to recall reviewing the Vast Aire album (probably not on this site), but I can't remember it for shit, which means it probably wasn't very good.
Anyhoo, Vast Aire and Vordul Mega grew tired of their job's at Fried Chicken (how come all the chicken places in NY have generic ass names?) and have decided to reunite for a new album on Def Jux.
According to the press release, the as-of-yet untitled LP is due for an '06 release and will be released in the same quarter as El-P's follow up to his 2002 solo release, the highly acclaimed Fantastic Damage. Scheduled guest producers for the Can Ox album as of press time include the RZA and Pete Rock.
Can you say, fuck yeah?
