The Real World: Austin - Episode 16: Episode Summary
From the previews, we know that this is the episode where Danny gets pissed off at Melinda for flirting with some other guy. Danny, who seemed like he might have been on the right track before, has gone and asked Melinda to be his girlfriend. I guess his crackhead mom dying and being drunk all the time has officially thrown his game off.
I guess the thing with SXSW is starting to ramp up. They go to some building to meet with their gay filmmaking teachers, two guys and a girl that I first thought was a guy. To set up whatever else happens in this episode, we see one of the bosses remind them that they're not allowed to drink on the job (bummer!) and Lacey going off about how Melinda doesn't care about the job.
Melinda, because she doesn't like this band Enon, opts not to bother interviewing them but instead goes to a place called the Spaghetti Warehouse and has a liquid lunch with her new boyfriend Danny. So they get back to the job way late and not really in any condition to do anything productive. Lacey and Nehemiah are obviously nonplussed.
Wes and Danny decide that they want to have drinks with this band Halifax because they think they might open up more in their interview if they're trashed. Right when they're about to walk into a bar, their boss walks up and almost catches them, but doesn't. So they end up go out and do all kinds of drinking - on tape, even.
Then Melinda shows up and starts flirting with one of the kids from the band, which gets Danny all pissed off and possessive. I was hoping he might lay the smack down, but he mostly just gets all angry and walks home like a little bitch. But then that's what he gets for thinking he could turn a nasty ass slut like that into any kind of decent girlfriend.
The next day, in order to reconcile the situation, Melinda puts on this complete joke of a bra and goes and rubs her boobs all up against Danny. But he's not having it, or so he claims. But then they just end up right back together like they always do. Whatever
NEXT WEEK: Lacey the hot female Crispin Glover gets caught on tape talking shit about Rachel the fat fake Army nurse.
