Beanie Sigel's stepfather killed

Some individual is obviously pissed that Beanie Sigel was able to pay off witnesses in his recent attempted murder trial and has decided to get back at him by killing his stepfather.

The grisly details via MTV.com:

Beanie Sigel's relatives have told reporters in Philadelphia that burned remains discovered in an alleyway in the city's Mount Airy neighborhood Tuesday morning were that of Sigel's 46-year-old stepfather, Samuel Derry.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Derry was shot to death — hit twice in the stomach — before his body was set on fire.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not sure how pissed I'd be if someone decided to off some random jig that was dropping it off in my mom. I guessed this could be viewed though as someone sending Beans a message a la the Jam Master Jay's killing.

Maybe he should sign with G-Unit just for the police protection. Ha!
