krispexgate briefing

A few things re: krispexgate and then I'm done for the evening, unless there are some major developments between now and tomorrow morning.

First of all, as I'm sure many of you are aware, last night krispex created some sort of "history making" (but not actually very impressive) diatribe in which he accuses Hashim of being a hermaphrodite. (Say it ain't so!) Actually, it's great in that it's a perfect example of the kind of shit that would normally be found on aka Gay Yoga, which of course no longer exists. I was worried that I would go on about how bad it was and not have an actual example to point to.

It's currently available at many of the lesser (and therefore most important) hip-hop blogs on the Internets. I'm not going to go through the hassle of listing them all, but - in general - just think of the absolute lowest form of so-called professional journalists, and then - out of that list - think of the ones who would even go so far as to turn their blogs over to another man if they thought it might get them in VIBE magazine. To what length would Sean Fennessey go to service kris ex? I don't even want to speculate.

I know a few things were already posted in the comments section of the "pwned" post, and if you guys manage to come across anything else, feel free to post it either here or there. If you haven't already peeped the conversation at Joey's site, definitely check that out. Here's Stone's take on things, and Hashim says he's going to post something at Hip Hop Blogs about it. Also, I see Lesbo Johnson wrote something about it and even had the sheer balls (both literally and figuratively) to tell me to keep her name out of my mouth. Riiight.

I'm going to be cracking some beers and hoping I can hold it together until The Real World comes on, but who knows. Actually, I'm going to try to make it a point to stay up. I mean, a man's gotta have priorities.
