Cool white parents

I probably didn't grow up in a trashy enough neighborhood to experience any really "cool parents," other than maybe the occasional mom who didn't notice (or at least pretended not to notice) that you chiefed in the basement. But there was definitely none of these situations in which dudes' moms were throwing all kinds of wild sex parties and, in some cases, actually having sex with the kids.

(As an aside, I guess one of the downsides of not living in the ghetto was that most of the kids I knew had moms who were way too old for anybody to want to fuck. Which is not to demonize only being like 12 years older than your children. Because that would just be judgmental.)

It's hard for me, in general, to feel any kind of outrage towards news stories that have to do with adults having sex with children, but I'm especially wondering what the big deal really is in this case. Maybe it's creepy that a 40-year-old woman would want to get busy with her 15-year-old son's playmates, but it's not like she tied them to a post and went all Huey P. Newton on them.

In Missouri, if I'm not mistaken, the age of consent for men (or males, I should say) is something like 14 years old. So basically, an adult woman would have to dip pretty damn low to bang a young man and actually be breaking the law. Which is the way it should be anyway. There could never, and this is a scientific fact, be a situation in which a 14-year-old boy could fuck an older woman and be anything other than better for it.
