Back to his old tricks?
It's been brought to my attention, thanks to djxplicit and some of the other kids over at the Kanye = Douche blog, that Big Bank Kanye might have just pulled another "Jesus Walks" with this new single of his, "Diamonds are Forever," or whatever it's called. According to this kid called "Skein" that posts there, Teh Ghey West jacked the idea for "Diamonds" from some underground rapper named Lupe Fiasco. (That's almost as ridonkulous a name as Rhymefest). You can check out the Lupe Fiasco version here:

If this is true, and right now I don't have any reason to believe that it isn't, then it marks at least the 3rd time TGW has "borrowed" music from some underground artist. His big Grammy-winning single "Jesus Walks" is basically a cover version of a song by an artist named Rhymefest, even though TGW continues to insist that 'Fest's involvement in the song (he came up with the beat and most of the lyrics) amounted to nothing more than a little help with the lyrics. Also, TGW jacked the chorus for that Ludacris song "Stand Up" from some underground group called I.O.F. (It's Only Family).
More on this as it develops.
