Has Road Rules been canceled?
A BC dot C Special Report
I know that probably a lot of you could care less about this, but this spring will mark what must be the 8th Real World / Road Rules Challenge (The Inferno 2) since the last season of Road Rules went off the air way, way back, like last summer. And after that, apparently, there will be yet another new season of the Real World (Austin, TX), but still no new Road Rules. Neither the MTV nor the BMP sites for the show have been updated since the last season (Road Rules X-TREME) was airing. Did MTV cancel this shit last year and not bother telling anyone about it?
The thing about Road Rules is, it's had its up and downs (and more downs than ups) quality-wise and I don't think it was ever much of a ratings success even during the really good seasons. (Hopefully, I don't to explain which ones these were). But lately it seemed like the show was getting close to finding its groove. In particular, these last two seasons, South Pacific and X-Treme, have produced some of the finest looking pussy in the history of the medium. The South Pacific cast boasted not one but two Playboy playmates and X-TREME had that one chick Kina and also my personal all-time favorite female cast member, Angela.
If they actually cancelled Road Rules, how far off can the Real World be? After all, I'm getting a little bit too old to find a new hobby. Hopefully, this is only a matter of MTV taking a little extra time to search the country for the absolute very best-looking pussy and not a matter of them cancelling one of the all-time greatest shows in the history of television.
