What will become of Da Band?

Da Band

OK, obviously the short answer to this question is not a whole lot. In the long run, all of them will end up back in their respective ghettos (provided they don't end up in jail) with a good 5 or 6 kids per that they can't afford to take care of and still harboring delusions of making it in the entertainment business. But I thought it might be interesting to take a look at what's likely to happen to these clowns in the short run, including what's going to happen in this next episode and over the next year or so.

From the previews, it looks like Diddy finally decides to kick Dylan out of the house (remember to vote in the Informal Poll) and then holds a meeting where he decides to disband the rest of the group. Since you know you can't trust MTV with these damn reality show previews, I'm going to go ahead and assume that, of course, Dylan waves bye bye, but the rest of them, except for maybe Freddy P (the only other member besides Dylan who wasn't on Chapelle's Show), somehow manage to remain affiliated with Bad Boy either as a group or as solo artists whose albums will either suck or never be released.

Dylan has already been as good as gone since season 2 (Diddy was probably just waiting for a dramatic moment to pull the plug), and I'm pretty sure Diddy was having issues with Freddy P both as an artist (notice the way he would grimace everytime he would listen to one Fred's demos from the new album and how he ended kicking him off of pretty much all of the songs already) and as an individual (Diddy was getting tired of watching him mouth off to his legion of sycophants, especially Manager Steve Urkel and Old Tony Dofat). Maybe Fred even knew he was on his way out the door and that was why he was clowning so hard these past few episodes.

But I can't really see Diddy dropping the rest of these clowns. He might not do a whole lot to advance their careers at this point, but he'll at least allow them to continue pretending that they're a part of the label like the vast majority of other people who you might've heard had signed with Bad Boy and never heard from again. Better that than to, say drop Sara and piss off Ig'nant Tone (Diddy really don't want it with that crazy nigga) or drop Babs, which would just piss off Young City. Remember he's still got that man crush on Ness anyway. He might be most likely of all of them to see his album released. Too bad he sucks. I guess we'll see Thursday. Anybody got any predictions?
