Black Ga. Teen's Sex Sentence Overturned
First of all, was I the only person who, when I first heard of this, thought "But was it worth it?" Not that any piece of trim would be worth 10 years in jail (even Lindsay Lohan would only be worth a day or so), but I'm just saying: The thought crossed my mind.

Not to get into any weird issues that I read about in deep dark corners of the Internet that probably shouldn't exist or anything, but it is a fact that the legal age of consent in this country used be 10 years old back about 100 years ago or so and only gradually drifted all the way up to 18 rather recently. Alls I'm saying is, maybe 18 was a bit too far? I say we push it back to 16 and 15 with a note from the girl's (why would it be a guy's) parents, which would've been enough in this case to save this kid from 15 months in jail.

Of course even that wouldn't have been enough to save him from yet another case he's got coming up in which he's been accused of forcing himself upon some 14-year-old girl in a trailer (LOL). In this case, even Byron's gonna have to stand up and take some kind of moral stance. 15 I can excuse, but 14 is just wrong. If this is true, then he should be locked up somewhere far away where he can't harm anymore innocent children.
