Critics 'shocked' by the Passion
This whole "Passion of the Christ" debacle is starting to turn into a battle of who can be more silly.
The evangelical set has already got plans to use it as some sort of "recruitment tool." Birth of a Nation, anyone? Bueller?:
Mr Willis (a BBC writer) said some Christian groups had called it the "greatest recruiting tool" for the faith, with one evangelist saying it would help spread the word.
But the Jews are pissed and want to add their own ending:
Jewish pressure group the Anti-Defamation League is pressing for a post-script reminder to be added to the film along the lines of "Jesus died for the sins of all men."
What a waste.
My only question is, where has Jesse Jackson been in all this? Because they should've had Sam Jackson playing Jesus. I mean, if they were so concerned with accuracy...
